GREEN - OCD - RESEARCHER'S GATHERING

Received a lengthy GEDCOM from George Green who has been working quite a long time on his ancestor Jonathan GREEN (1815-1883), buried in the Stump Church Cemetery in Easton, and who might possibly have been from the OCD. I’ll be spending some time with it to see if I can help in any way. We corresponded many years ago regarding this also but perhaps we will come up with something new.

Have been working for about 3 days on a friend’s computer. Had nasty viruses and had to format and reload the whole system.

Have set up an announcement page on my website which describes a RESEARCHER'S GATHERING in Washington County, New York. It will be a week long event this coming spring or summer, with intensive study at the county records center, historical societies, museums, cemeteries, etc.

Check it out and if you would like to participate just let me know.

1810 cambridge - VAN BUSKIRK - ALLEN - NILES - OCD Quaker

Started to proof read a partial copy of the 1810 census for Cambridge, Washington Co., NY., that is posted on rootsweb.

Added will of Maria (VAN NESS) VAN BUSKIRK and added Rev War Pension File of her husband, Martin VAN BUSKIRK, to the OCD collection. Also added the pension file of Richard/Derick VAN BUSKIRK.

Worked quite a lot on the ALLENs and NILESs in the OCD. Added several Quaker marriages from Easton Meeting to the OCD.
