The American Pomeroy Historic Genealogical Association is hiring

Here is an interesting part time job offering for someone in the Syracuse area.

The American Pomeroy Historic Genealogical Association (www.aphga.org), located in Syracuse, NY, has a great opportunity for two part-time genealogical researchers to join our team and work on a landmark genealogical publishing project.
We are collecting genealogical data for an update of the Albert A. Pomeroy genealogy books "The History and Genealogy of the Pomeroy Family", published in in 1912 and 1922 and we need your help. The successful candidate will be familiar with a wide range of genealogical research, including transcription, census record gathering, vital records gathering, and internet searches, and will possess good computer skills. Genealogical database data-entry skills are recommended, but not required.
This is a long-term project, and hours are flexible within a work week of Monday through Friday, 8:15am - 5:15pm. We are looking for researchers able to work 19.5 hours per week. To apply for a position, please contact Ellen Mable, of Contemporary Personnel Staffing, Inc. at (315)-457-2500 ext 22.
Thanks Dick!
